Складається таке враження, що Петро Шифф говорить все навмисно з метою привернення уваги до нового цифрового активу.

Ось нещодавно Пітер заявив: невігластво та відсутність досвіду — це супутники молодих людей, що купують Біткоїн. З часом, каже золотий жук, вони зрозуміють, що інвестувати було потрібно саме в золото. Добре, що хоча б він говорить про інвестиції в золото, а не зберігання грошей в банківських установах. Шифф заявляє, що єдиний спосіб підняти вартість Біткоїна — залучення великої кількості людей. З його слів це виглядає на піраміду, але Шифф лукавить. Біткоїн де-факто демонструє фантастичні успіхи й без широкого розповсюдження. Якби його дійсно купували всі наші колеги та знайомі, то ціна давно б виражалася семизначним числом. А ще він мовчить про технічну сторону блокчейну Біткоїна, що відкриває низку можливостей для сучасного фінансового світу. І водночас він жалкує, що не купив Біткоїн у 2010. Bitcoin de facto shows fantastic success even without widespread distribution. And he is silent about the technical side of the Bitcoin blockchain, which opens up a number of opportunities for the modern financial world.
